Local Growth Strategy & Performance Marketing

This case study highlights how a local service-based business strengthened its online presence through local SEO, Social Media Marketing, and Google Ads. The work focused on increasing visibility, driving foot traffic, and improving customers through campaigns, strategic content, and consistent brand positioning across different online channels.​

The Challenge

Blue Tide Car Wash relied entirely on pass-by traffic and word of mouth. There was no visibility in local search, no consistent brand identity, and no way to measure or scale growth. The business had no established social media or SEO and website / internet presence. 

Compounding the challenge, the business inherited a single local Google Business Profile with a history of poor reviews from the previous ownership. The new owners needed to establish credibility, rebuild trust, and clearly communicate that the car wash was under new management — all while operating as a live, customer-facing business.​

The objective was to build a complete local marketing ecosystem from the ground up while simultaneously addressing reputation, visibility, and customer confidence.​

Strategy and Approach

The strategy focused on building a complete local marketing foundation while repairing trust and improving visibility in local search. 

1. Optimized the Google Business Profile

The Google Business Profile was optimized to reflect new management, updated service details, accurate location information, and consistent brand messaging. This helped signal change to both customers and search engines while laying the groundwork for local SEO. 

This resulted in a 159% increase in business profile interactions, a 748% increase in views, and a 269% increase in people finding the business through search results.

2. Created a website and social media presence

A website and social media presence were launched to provide customers with a clear place to learn about services, pricing, and promotions. Brand imagery and on-site visuals were also taken to replace outdated or missing assets, reinforcing a more professional and trustworthy experience.​

Resulted in 1,400 sessions per month, 1,100 NEW local visitors to the site per month, increasing calls by 70% and new customers by 20% every month.

Revamped the Instagram page which resulted in 114,200 views each month on Instagram from the business's target audience.

3. Set the Foundation for Google and Meta Ads Campaigns

Paid advertising was introduced to accelerate local awareness and drive immediate foot traffic. Campaigns were structured around high-intent local searches, promotional offers, and seasonal messaging. Performance was monitored closely, with ongoing optimizations to targeting, creative, and budget allocation to improve efficiency over time.

The campaign generated 109,193 local impressions and 541 verified store visits in one month, along with call clicks and driving directions from high-intent customers. Within a year, the business recorded an additional 300k revenue.

Meta Advertising Campaigns

Strategically structured Meta campaigns increased link clicks by 5,485%, driving 391 website visits in 30 days from targeted local audiences.

4. Optimized the Website for SEO

Due to another business operating under the same name in other states, it was critical to establish dominant local search visibility in Georgia.​ Additionally, other car wash businesses were showing up on Google before Blue Tide.

A localized SEO strategy was implemented to ensure Blue Tide Car Wash GA ranked above competitors. This included on-site optimization and locally targeted content focused on high-intent search queries in Gainesville and Oakwood, GA.

Within two months, Blue Tide Car Wash GA achieved first-page rankings and secured top organic placement for multiple branded and local search terms.

5. Implemented a review strategy

Developed a structured review acquisition and response system to shift public perception and strengthen local credibility. Resulted in 60+ new reviews within a 1-year period. Rose the review ratings to 4.3 from 3.9.
